LIZZI AKANA

Lizzi Akana is an award-winning director, animator, and designer based in Brooklyn, NY.

With over 20 years in the animation industry, she has created work across television, film, advertising, music videos, and illustration, collaborating with some of the country’s top studios. Known for blending striking visuals with imaginative storytelling, her projects range from playful children’s content to bold, stylistic work for music and entertainment.

Lizzi also teaches *Cinematic Storytelling* at RISD, sharing her passion for storyboarding with the next generation of visual storytellers.
